Nik Aziz is a wily old man.

UMNO had the upper political hand and was dictating the agenda in the UMNO-PAS song and dance, then he throws them a curve ball.

With that one stroke of genius, he has put UMNO on the defensive and publicly exposed the so-called dialogoues as nothing more than a waste of time.

It has also put PAS leaders who actually support the talks in a very difficult position indeed.
